We’re full time traveling technomads, and found ourselves parked along the Indian River along US1 in Titusville on Saturday evening. While wandering to our neighbor’s rig, we encountered two documentarians looking to interview folks for their shuttle piece.

We and our neighbors were thrilled to share a bit of our nomadic rendezvous and full time technology enabled traveling lifestyle that brought us to this convergence point.

The launched was scrubbed that night, but it was quite the party!

We stuck it through another evening, and captured the launch on video.

Enjoy!

Some comments on our video above from the comments we've noticed on Digg: 1) We were 12 miles away from the launch pad - thus why the sound delay on the rumble. 2) The audio commentary from NASA.TV you hear was streaming via iPhone that was nearby the camera. There is a delay on it as well. We opted to not mute the sound so that our viewers could experience it as we did - as casual space enthusiast viewers, not as professional media. 3) This was shot on a Canon SD780 subcompact camera - nothing fancy or professional. Sorry for the rotation shift as the shuttle got higher, we changed to portrait orientation to try to keep as much of smoke trail as possible in frame. This was quickly edited and uploaded moments after the launch. Hey.. we're not professional videographers.. and you don't get a chance to shoot these things twice. 4) If you don't like our use of fonts in the logo, transition affects or our friend's music.. we're sure you can find plenty of other amateur level videos on YouTube to watch instead :D 5) If you think the 'drunk people' you hear in the background were bad.. you shoulda been there the night before on the first attempt! Egads.

Great looking video!! We got a great spot at Space View Park on Sat night, it's too bad it didn't go up then (I couldn't stay for the following day)... I did get a few nice shots with my Canon though (http://picasaweb.google.com/morningz/20100206EndeavorSTS130)... I could spend hours looking through photos and videos of the spectacular sight that any launch is
