The Nerd Apex
Posted by pizza_dogs on Wednesday, Oct 21, 2009
The Microsoft Surface is a giant table-top touchscreen – sorta like a humungous iPhone with legs. It’s super futuristic and looks like the kind of device people will find a billion different uses for. As for finding the single most unbelievably nerdy use for the table, well, one of Microsoft’s developers at Carnegie Mellon has already squashed the competition. In the video above you will see a recreation of the Dungeons and Dragons tabletop game on the MS Surface. Yes, we’re talking the futuristic technology imagined by PK Dick meets D&D but real life. This is the nerd apex: Eat it up, nerds.
